Maps are one of the most significant aids when plotting where ancestors lived, particularly in cities. What is available online as well as in record offices will be discussed by speaker Alan Ruston. There are maps that don't just describe streets and buildings but show the class and even religious nature of the people who lived there. A selection of maps will be available for examination.
Buckinghamshire Family History Society welcomes non-members to its meetings; entry is £4.
